Troisdorf's Gynecological Cancer Center Earns Elite Certification for 2025–2028

GFO Clinics Troisdorf has received certification for its Gynecological Cancer Center Troisdorf/Rhein-Sieg. The German Cancer Society awarded the recognition in 2025. Dr. Adalbert Waida, Chief Physician of Gynecology and Obstetrics, expressed satisfaction with the achievement. The certification confirms the centre meets the high standards set by the German Cancer Society’s professional requirements. It remains valid until 2028. Women with uterine, vaginal, vulvar, or ovarian cancer can now access all necessary treatments in one place, with short appointment waiting times.

Sarah Wallpott, Commercial Director of GFO Clinics Troisdorf, noted that the certification complements their existing gynaecological services. It also highlights the hospital’s commitment to providing top-quality medical care. The GFO Clinics Troisdorf treat around 82,000 outpatients and 27,000 inpatients each year across over 500 beds.

The facility is operated by the Non-Profit Society of the Franciscan Sisters of Olpe. This organisation manages more than 100 social and healthcare centres at roughly 130 locations, employing about 17,500 people. The certification ensures patients receive the best care for gynaecological cancers in a dedicated, certified centre. The hospital now offers a complete range of treatments under one roof. The achievement underscores the high medical standards maintained by GFO Clinics Troisdorf.
