Nobel Prize 2024 Honors AlphaFold's AI Breakthrough in Protein Science

The creators of AlphaFold have been awarded the Nobel Prize in 2024. Their groundbreaking AI tool, which predicts a protein's 3D structure from its genetic code, has revolutionised molecular biology. The honour recognises the system’s profound impact on scientific research. For years, scientists struggled to capture the dynamic nature of proteins.
