Several prominent figures in the Sverdlovsk region have received state honours for their long-standing contributions to various fields. The awards recognise achievements in healthcare, education, culture, and public service. In the field of healthcare, Yevgeny Yerofeyev, head of a department at the Ural Research Institute of Mother and Child Care, was awarded the Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland, Second Class. His recognition came for decades of dedicated service and significant achievements in medicine. Natalya Putilova, also from the same institute, received the honorary title Honored Healthcare Worker of the Russian Federation for her committed work in the sector.
At Ural State Medical University, three individuals were honoured. Sergei Zholudev, a department head, received the Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland, Second Class for his contributions to academic and teaching work. Khair Abdulkerimov was named Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation for his role in training skilled professionals. Professors Yelena Volokitina and Tatyana Kiseleva were both conferred the title Honored Physician of the Russian Federation for their long and conscientious service in healthcare.
Natalya Zilberberg, deputy director of the Ural Research Institute of Dermatovenereology and Immunopathology, also received the title Honored Physician of the Russian Federation. In public service, Anatoly Sushkov, head of a department at the Sverdlovsk Oblast branch of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography, was awarded the Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland, Second Class for his professional achievements.
The cultural sector saw actress Irina Yermolova of the Sverdlovsk Academic State Drama Theater receive the Order For Merit in Culture and Art. Her award recognised a long and fruitful career in the field. Senator Viktor Sheltiy was decorated with the Order of Friendship for his active legislative work and years of dedicated service. The honours highlight the dedication and impact of individuals across key sectors in the region. Each recipient has demonstrated long-term commitment and significant contributions to their respective fields.
