Specialists at Burdenko Military Hospital and Vishnevsky Surgery Center have created a new rehabilitation method for gunshot wound patients. The approach aims to speed up recovery using advanced medical techniques. The method involves the use of vasoactive peptides to strengthen blood vessel walls. Early results show it can accelerate the recovery process by 1.5 times, or 50% faster than traditional treatments.
Konstantin Petrov, a senior resident in the vascular surgery department at Burdenko Hospital, highlighted the need for further research. He stated that additional studies are required to confirm the method’s effectiveness. The innovative rehabilitation technique offers a potential breakthrough for patients with gunshot wounds. Its success could lead to wider adoption in medical practice once confirmed through rigorous testing.
