Altai Krai invests 22 billion rubles in healthcare and education upgrades

Altai Krai has allocated 22 billion rubles to national projects in 2025. The funding supports developments in healthcare, education, culture, and urban infrastructure. Governor Viktor Tomenko highlighted the improvements in social services and living standards for residents. Under the Long and Active Life project, 32 medical facilities have been completed. These include polyclinics in Aleysk and Rebrikha. A polyclinic in Smolensky District is now finished, with three more still under construction. A new modular admissions department is also being built at Regional Emergency Hospital No. 2.

Education has seen progress through the Youth and Children project. Twenty-five school buildings across the region have been renovated. The Family project has upgraded kindergartens in Aleysky and Volchikha Districts, a children’s art school in Kosiha District, and a library in Yegoryevsky District. Construction has also started on a new children’s music school in Barnaul. The projects are expanding social infrastructure across Altai Krai. New and upgraded facilities in healthcare and education are now serving local communities. The initiatives aim to enhance access to essential services for residents in the region.
