Mandsaur District Hospital To Get ₹45 Lakh Mammography Machine - Facility To Enhance Breast Cancer Screening

Mandsaur Hospital to Get New Mammography Machine by June End

The District Hospital in Mandsaur will soon have a new mammography machine. The advanced equipment, costing around Rs 45 lakh, aims to improve breast cancer detection for local women. It will reduce the need for travel to cities like Indore, Ujjain, or Udaipur for such tests. The machine is being installed with support from the Ganediwal family and the Rotary Club of Mandsaur. It honours the memory of late Ranchhod Prasad Ganediwal. District Collector Aditi Garg has already allocated space for it, and technical preparations are underway.

The facility is expected to start operations by the end of June. Early detection of breast cancer will become easier, allowing doctors to begin treatment sooner. This will benefit thousands of women in the district.

The Ganediwal family has also funded a modern cardiac ambulance project. This initiative aims to strengthen emergency healthcare services in the region. Rotary Club officials stated that both projects will enhance medical care access and improve local healthcare infrastructure. The mammography machine will provide advanced screening within Mandsaur. Women will no longer need to travel long distances for tests. The initiative is part of broader efforts to upgrade healthcare services in the district.
