Baby boy born under a Christmas tree in hospital lobby

A baby boy arrived in dramatic fashion just before Christmas. Jaxson Ayani Largo was born under a Christmas tree in the lobby of Orem Community Hospital. His parents, Karina and her husband, had rushed to the hospital only minutes earlier. Karina Largo’s water broke a few days before the holiday. She and her husband headed straight to Orem Community Hospital. As they entered the lobby, nurses quickly realised she needed a wheelchair.

Jaxson was born just three minutes after his mother arrived. The delivery happened beneath the hospital’s Christmas tree. Karina later said the nurses were kind and the birth itself was fast.

The hospital gave the Christmas tree to the family as a keepsake. Jaxson’s middle name, Ayani, means 'buffalo' in Navajo. He joins an older brother and sister at home. The unexpected arrival brought a unique start to Jaxson’s life. The family now has a special reminder of the day—a Christmas tree under which their son was born. The hospital’s gesture added a personal touch to an already memorable event.
