No serious side effects were reported, and most patients maintained their progress throughout the study. The treatment’s effects lasted at least a year for all participants. Researchers believe it could replace surgery for many with knee osteoarthritis. This development may provide a long-term solution for a condition affecting hundreds of millions globally.
