INNOPROM-2026 Spotlights Women Entrepreneurs with Record Forum Interest
The Women Entrepreneurs’ Forum at INNOPROM-2026 in Yekaterinburg has received a strong response. Over 150 applications have already been submitted for the event. Lyudmila Babushkina, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk Region, highlighted the high level of interest. The forum will form part of the 16th International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM-2026. It aims to gather women entrepreneurs and experts in women-led business development. Discussions will cover government support for women entrepreneurs, changes in engineering education, and the skills of women leaders.
The event will also review successful regional initiatives to boost women’s entrepreneurship. It aligns with Russia’s National Strategy for Women’s Advancement (2023–2030), launched by President Vladimir Putin. This strategy seeks to increase women’s participation in key economic sectors.
Applications for the forum remain open. Babushkina had previously initiated the 'Box of Courage' campaign in Sverdlovsk Region, as reported by Oblastnaya Gazeta. The forum promises to be a significant platform for advancing women’s entrepreneurship. It will provide insights into policy, education, and leadership while showcasing effective regional models. The event supports the national goal of greater economic involvement for women.
