AND-E's Elevate Programme Transforms Women's Leadership in Second Year
AND-E has launched the second year of its Elevate programme to support talented women at mid-senior level. The initiative aims to prevent the loss of key staff and strengthen leadership succession. It began in April 2026 with 13 participants from across Europe. The Elevate programme was co-designed and co-delivered by Michelle Minnikin and Pamela Avornyo, Head of People Development at AND-E. It targets behavioural, gendered, and systemic barriers that can hinder authority, progression, and retention.
Participants reported significant improvements. Sarah Brown was promoted to Head of Claims Support and Control during the programme. Laura Rowell found it created a safe space for self-reflection and recognising her strengths.
The biggest changes were seen in areas tied to sustainable leadership, such as boundaries, voice, authority, and presence. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with 91% describing the programme as transformational or very impactful. All respondents rated it 9/10 or higher for likelihood to recommend, averaging 9.9/10. Additionally, 11 out of 12 participants reduced reported symptoms by an average of 21 points, a 44% overall improvement. The programme has delivered measurable benefits in leadership development and wellbeing. Its high satisfaction rates and tangible outcomes suggest a strong impact on participants. AND-E continues to address retention and succession challenges through this initiative.
