Magadan's new 50-bed rehabilitation centre nears July 2023 opening

A new 50-bed rehabilitation centre in Magadan is nearly ready to open. The facility will offer comprehensive support for people with disabilities. It forms part of a wider effort to revitalise the Gorokhotskoye Field area. Construction of the medical complex is almost complete. The centre consists of three connected buildings with a shared technical floor. Major interior work has finished, with furniture in place and medical equipment delivered.

The centre will provide a range of services. These include medical and social rehabilitation, physiotherapy, thermotherapy, and psychological support. Patients will receive care from a multidisciplinary team of therapists, neurologists, and physiotherapists.

Modern facilities will support advanced treatments. These include gyms, kinesio- and locomotion therapy rooms, and a specialized pool with an adjustable floor. The rehabilitation centre is set to open in July 2023. It will improve access to high-quality care for people with disabilities in the region. The project also marks a significant step in the development of Magadan’s Gorokhotskoye Field area.
