PSMU graduates 55th cohort of preventive medicine specialists with a call to action

Pacific State Medical University held a graduation ceremony for its 55th cohort of preventive medicine specialists. The event brought together graduates, faculty, and distinguished guests to celebrate their achievements. It highlighted the importance of their training in safeguarding public health. The ceremony took place with the university’s full faculty in attendance. Leaders from Rospotrebnadzor, regional healthcare experts, and PSMU staff also joined the occasion.

PSMU Rector Kirill Stegniy addressed the graduates, stressing the strategic role of preventive medicine. He described them as 'strategists' who focus on stopping health issues before they arise. Stegniy also urged them to report any breaches of sanitary standards they might encounter.

He reminded the graduates of their duty to protect humanity from disease. They were advised to apply their skills in epidemiology, hygiene, toxicology, and healthcare management. The rector also thanked parents and educators for their support and promised the university’s continued assistance. The graduates left the ceremony with a clear mission.
