Regional Medical Center Unites DAISY and ROSE Awards in Historic Ceremony

Regional Medical Center held its first combined DAISY and ROSE Awards Ceremony this week. The event recognised outstanding contributions from both nursing and non-nursing staff. It celebrated excellence in patient care and operational support across the organisation. The ceremony marked a new tradition for RMC, bringing together two awards for the first time. The DAISY Award, an internationally known honour, has long celebrated exceptional nursing staff at the centre. This year, Nurse Practitioner Denise Lympus received the accolade.

Alongside it, the hospital introduced the ROSE Award to acknowledge non-nursing employees for their dedication. Physical Therapist Abbie Wooten was named its first recipient. During the event, nomination letters from patients, families, and colleagues were read aloud to highlight the impact of the winners’ work.
