The Mama Hub Launches to Support Isle of Man Mothers Through Pregnancy and Beyond
A new community project, The Mama Hub, has launched on the Isle of Man to support women during pregnancy and early motherhood. Founded by Hayley Garrett and Vanessa Egisto, the initiative offers a welcoming space for women to connect, share experiences, and access expert advice. The Mama Hub will host regular gatherings at The Sensory Hub Isle of Man, based at The Roundhouse in Braddan. These sessions are open to pregnant women, new mothers, and those with young children. Each event will include a guest speaker covering topics like pregnancy health, postnatal recovery, and early parenting.
The first event takes place on Sunday, April 12, featuring guest speaker Sanchia Newman. She will discuss pelvic health during pregnancy and recovery after childbirth. More events, speakers, and prenatal courses will be announced in the coming months, with booking details shared via The Mama Hub's social media. The founders aim to reduce isolation often felt in early motherhood by building friendships and a strong sense of community. Their goal is to provide both emotional support and practical guidance during a key life transition.
The Mama Hub will offer ongoing support through expert-led sessions and social connections. Women can follow the initiative's social media for updates on future events and courses. The project seeks to become a trusted resource for mothers at all stages of early parenthood.
