Teenagers Leave Man with Severe Bite Wounds in Omsk Assault

A violent assault near a shop in Omsk has left a man with severe bite injuries. The attack happened on March 17 in the Oktyabrsky District, where three teenagers targeted the victim after demanding cigarettes. His wife later shared details of the incident in a local emergency news group.

The assault took place at around 10 pm outside a store on Kirov Street. The victim, whose name has not been released, was approached by three teenagers asking for cigarettes. When he replied that he had none, they attacked him.

The teenagers bit the man repeatedly, causing deep, jagged wounds. Chunks of skin and muscle were torn away, leaving him with injuries that required urgent medical attention. Human bites carry a high risk of infection, which can lead to serious and even life-threatening complications. This was not the first violent incident involving the same group. The attackers have been linked to other assaults in the area, always striking after dark and acting in threes. Despite these reports, no similar group attacks near Kirov Street have been officially documented in the past year.

The victim's wife alerted the community by posting about the attack in the local emergency news group ChP Omsk. Authorities have yet to confirm whether the teenagers have been identified or arrested. The case highlights the risks of late-night violence in the district.
