Survivor Oksana B. breaks silence after brutal partner attack left her disfigured

Oksana B. has spoken publicly about the violent attack that left her disfigured and blind in one eye. Her former partner, Nikolai A., assaulted her with a wrench in December 2024 after months of stalking and threats. She now covers part of her face with a medical dressing while continuing her recovery.

Oksana met Nikolai after a painful divorce, believing he would bring stability to her life. At first, he seemed supportive, but his behaviour changed once they moved in together. He began isolating her from friends and family, subjecting her to verbal abuse and controlling behaviour.

When Oksana tried to leave, Nikolai stalked and threatened her. The violence escalated in December 2024, when he attacked her with a wrench in a fit of rage. The assault left her with a shattered arm, a broken rib, and permanent blindness in her right eye. Nikolai fled the scene before authorities arrived. Since the attack, Oksana has undergone multiple surgeries, with more planned, including an ocular prosthesis. Her body has not fully healed, but she has turned her focus toward helping others. She now advocates for those trapped in abusive relationships, sharing her story to raise awareness. Recently, she appeared on *Pust Govoryat* on Channel One, speaking openly about her ordeal.

Oksana’s recovery remains ongoing, both physically and emotionally. She continues to undergo medical treatment while dedicating herself to supporting victims of domestic violence. Her public appearance marks a step toward reclaiming her voice after the attack.
