SickScience Joins Ulta Beauty in Major Biotech Skincare Expansion
Biotech skincare brand SickScience has partnered with Ulta Beauty, just two years after its launch. The deal marks a significant step for the science-led company, bringing its brand identity to a wider audience. Ulta's vice president of merchandising, Lisa Tamburello, highlighted the brand's proven results as a key factor in the collaboration.
SickScience will debut online at Ulta.com on February 8. Shoppers can then find the products in 757 Ulta Beauty stores from February 22. The launch includes four items: the NetWork Rich Concentrated Serum ($74), ShapeShift V-Line Jaw Defining Serum ($64), PowerCycle Scalp Treatment Serum ($64), and DropOff Body Sculpting Serum ($52).
Dr. Polen Koçak, cofounder of SickScience, sees the partnership as a way to make high-performance biotech beauty more accessible. Fellow cofounder Dr. Merve Yildirim also shared enthusiasm, emphasising the chance for direct consumer engagement in Ulta's stores.
The brand's focus on dermatologically backed formulations has drawn attention in the beauty industry. Ulta's decision to stock SickScience reflects growing interest in science-driven skincare solutions.
The collaboration expands SickScience's reach through one of the largest beauty retailers in the US. Customers will soon access the brand's serums and treatments both online and in hundreds of physical locations. The move positions SickScience as a key player in the biotech beauty market.
