SBI Securities Launches Women's Mode to Empower Female Investors in India
SBI Securities has introduced a new feature called Women's Mode on its investment app. Designed to make financial planning more accessible, it caters specifically to the growing number of women in India taking charge of their investments. The tool offers tailored journeys, simplified tools, and a dedicated brokerage plan to support their goals.
The concept behind Women's Mode was developed after consulting over 6,000 women investors. Their feedback shaped the feature's design, ensuring it addresses real needs and preferences. By March 2026, more than 500,000 women had already used the tool, with many focusing on low-risk objectives like retirement savings and education funds.
The feature recommends asset classes such as domestic bonds, Nikkei 225 index funds, and dividend-paying blue-chip stocks. It forms part of Infinity8, SBI Securities' broader initiative to engage women investors over the long term. The company, a subsidiary of the State Bank of India, aims to provide inclusive access to financial markets for all.
Ms. Bhuvaneshwari A., Managing Director & CEO of SBI Securities, highlighted the importance of building financial confidence among women. She noted that initiatives like Women's Mode and Infinity8 are key to fostering independence and informed decision-making.
Women's Mode reflects SBI Securities' commitment to empowering women through thoughtful innovation. The feature's early adoption suggests a strong demand for tailored financial tools. As more women engage with investing, the platform aims to support their journey with clarity and confidence.
