Pampanga's ₱50M diagnostic hub to offer free lab tests by mid-2023

The provincial government of Pampanga will open a ₱50-million diagnostic building inside the Lubao Municipal Complex by July 2023. Governor Lilia Pineda shared the news during a medical mission that assisted over 1,100 residents from the district. The new facility aims to provide free laboratory services to local communities. The announcement came as part of a medical outreach event where 1,156 people received free consultations, essential medicines, and food packs. The initiative highlighted the province’s commitment to accessible healthcare.

The upcoming diagnostic building will offer a wide range of services, including blood chemistry tests, X-rays, 2D echo, mammograms, CT scans, and ultrasounds. These services will be available at no cost to residents in Pampanga’s second district. The project falls under the *Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program*, which encourages regular checkups and early disease detection. By expanding diagnostic capabilities, the provincial government hopes to improve health outcomes for local families.

The new facility is set to open in mid-2023, providing free laboratory tests to the community. Residents in Lubao and surrounding areas will gain easier access to essential medical services. The project builds on ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare support across the province.
