Pampanga Expands Healthcare with Aid for Dialysis Patients and New Hospitals

Pampanga’s provincial government has rolled out aid to dialysis patients while expanding healthcare services. Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda personally led the distribution in four towns. The initiative targets both financial relief and long-term health improvements.

The aid programme reached beneficiaries in Lubao, Magalang, Mexico, and Apalit. Each recipient received a sack of rice to help offset the high costs of treatment. Officials also highlighted the physical toll dialysis places on patients and their families.

Alongside short-term support, the province is investing in new hospitals. Facilities in Apalit, Bacolor, San Luis, and Arayat are either underway or planned. Governor Pineda stressed that better access to preventive care could lower kidney disease rates over time. The provincial government has made healthcare infrastructure a priority. By combining direct aid with expanded medical services, officials aim to address both immediate needs and systemic challenges.

The programme provides tangible relief for dialysis patients through food aid. At the same time, new hospitals in key towns are expected to improve long-term care. These steps form part of a broader push to strengthen Pampanga’s healthcare system.
