Oman's She's Next Program Launches to Empower Women Entrepreneurs in 2026
A new initiative to support women entrepreneurs in Oman has launched this month. The She’s Next program, created by Sohar International and Visa, opened for applications on 13 January 2026. It offers financial backing, mentorship, and tailored business tools to help Omani women grow their ventures. The program is open exclusively to female entrepreneurs from all sectors in Oman. Eligible candidates can apply through an open registration process, which runs for four weeks. Organisers aim to provide participants with capital, skills, and practical resources for long-term business success.
Five finalists will receive one-on-one mentorship from Dr. Siham Ahmed Al-Harthi. This guidance will focus on refining business strategies and scaling operations. Winners will also share a total prize fund of OMR 38,000, distributed across multiple award categories. Participants will benefit from Sohar International’s *Be Zahiya* and *Zahiya Plus* banking solutions. These services are designed to meet the specific needs of women-led businesses. The initiative aligns with Oman’s Vision 2040, supporting economic diversification and private-sector expansion.
The She’s Next program will run for a limited application period, closing in mid-February. Successful candidates will gain access to funding, expert advice, and financial services. The scheme aims to strengthen women’s contributions to Oman’s business landscape.
