New children's clinic opens in Sverdlovsk with forest-themed healing spaces

A new children's outpatient clinic has opened at Berezovsky Central City Hospital in the Sverdlovsk region. Governor Denis Pasler officially inaugurated the facility, which aims to provide high-quality medical care to thousands of local children. The clinic is part of broader efforts to strengthen regional healthcare services. The new clinic serves over 20,000 children across the municipal district. It replaces the need for many families to travel to Yekaterinburg for specialised pediatric treatment. Patient referrals to regional centres are expected to drop by nearly half due to the expanded local services.

The facility includes an X-ray department, a physical therapy unit, an optometry room, and an endoscopy suite. These additions expand both preventive and diagnostic capabilities. All services are now available under one roof, making visits more convenient for parents and children. Inside, the clinic features a unique thematic design inspired by an enchanted forest. Murals of woodland animals line the walls, and an aquarium adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Play areas on every floor give children space to relax after appointments. On the same day, a newly renovated trauma centre opened in Pervouralsk. This unit can treat up to 200 patients daily, further improving access to medical care in the region. Governor Pasler also announced plans to purchase 2.8 billion rubles' worth of medical equipment for hospitals across Sverdlovsk. The investment will support ongoing upgrades to healthcare infrastructure.

The Berezovsky clinic strengthens the regional pediatric healthcare system by offering comprehensive care close to home. With reduced travel needs and expanded services, families now have better access to medical support. The facility's design and equipment aim to create a comfortable and efficient environment for young patients.
