Manchester's RMC Welcomes 230 Newborns in a Year of Twins and Trends

Regional Medical Center (RMC) in Manchester celebrated a busy year in 2025, with 230 babies born at its Birthing Center. The facility saw a mix of notable births, including twins and record weights, alongside some clear favourites for baby names. Throughout the year, the center welcomed 119 girls and 111 boys. Parents often chose Eleanor (or Eleanora) and Maeve (or Maevyn) for girls, while Hudson and Weston topped the list for boys.

Four days stood out as particularly busy: April 4th, June 7th, July 1st, and September 19th. On each of these dates, three babies arrived in a single day. The year also included two sets of twins, adding to the center’s lively statistics.

The smallest newborn of 2025 weighed just five pounds. At the other end of the scale, the largest baby tipped the scales at 10 pounds 12 ounces. Both births highlighted the range of deliveries handled by the RMC team. The Birthing Center at RMC Manchester recorded 230 deliveries in total for 2025. With twin arrivals, popular names, and notable birth weights, the year reflected both the routine and the remarkable in newborn care. The figures also showed a slight majority of girls born compared to boys.
