Heirs Insurance Group and United Capital Plc recently hosted the Yoga and Money Meet Up in Lagos. The event aimed to empower Nigerian women by combining financial education with wellness activities. Attendees took part in guided yoga, stress management sessions, and expert discussions on insurance and investments. The gathering brought together professionals to explore the connection between financial security and personal well-being. Ifesinachi Okoli-Okpagu, Chief Marketing Officer at Heirs Insurance Group, spoke about how insurance supports overall wellness. She highlighted the role of protection plans in reducing financial stress.

Heirs Insurance Group also introduced HerMotor, a motor insurance plan designed specifically for women. This policy includes 24/7 roadside assistance and a reward programme offering discounts on spa and wellness services. The company framed it as a way to blend financial protection with self-care.

United Capital’s Wealth for Women Fund was another key focus. Dr. Odiri Oginni, Managing Director of United Capital Asset Management, explained how the fund provides women with a secure investment option. She stressed the firms’ shared commitment to helping women build long-term financial security.

The event featured interactive sessions on asset protection, investment strategies, and stress relief. Experts led discussions, while participants engaged in practical exercises to strengthen both their financial knowledge and mental resilience. The Yoga and Money Meet Up reinforced the link between financial planning and personal wellness. Women left with access to tailored insurance products, investment opportunities, and wellness resources. The initiative reflects both companies’ ongoing efforts to support women’s empowerment in Nigeria.
