Hearzap expands into Bihar and Jharkhand with strategic acquisition

Hearzap, a Hyderabad-based hearing care provider, has acquired a majority stake in Speech and Hearing Care Pvt. Ltd. The deal strengthens its presence in Bihar and Jharkhand, where the acquired company is a well-known name. The acquisition is fully funded through Hearzap’s internal cash flows, with no external borrowing involved.

Hearzap, backed by 360 ONE, has been expanding rapidly. Last year, it secured around Rs 50 crore (about $6 million) in funding from the 360 One Healthcare Opportunities Fund. The company now operates in over 130 locations and employs more than 600 people.

This fiscal year, Hearzap’s revenue is set to exceed Rs 100 crore, giving it a 30% market share in key regions. The acquisition of Speech and Hearing Care will merge Hearzap’s advanced technology with the local expertise of the Bihar and Jharkhand-based firm. Looking ahead, Hearzap plans to grow to 250 stores by 2026. It also aims to double its expansion through strategic partnerships. To raise awareness, the company has appointed Bollywood actor Sonu Sood as its 'Ambassador for Cause'. The goal remains clear: making high-quality hearing care accessible across India.

The deal reinforces Hearzap’s position in eastern India while keeping its finances stable. With a strong revenue outlook and an expanding network, the company continues to push for wider reach. Its focus on technology and local partnerships will likely shape its growth in the coming years.
