The rollout of the electronic patient record (ePA) has raised many questions among the public. To address these concerns, the German Social Association (SoVD) has organised a free online lecture titled 'ePA for All' on February 12, 2026. The main event will feature experts from AOK Niedersachsen explaining key aspects of the new system.
The event will take place from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM on Microsoft Teams. Leonie Jung and Vivian Dückmann, representatives from AOK Niedersachsen, will lead the session. They will cover fundamental topics such as the purpose of the ePA, data security measures, access rights, and how patients can manage their records.
Attendees must register in advance by emailing [email protected] before February 9, 2026. Once registered, participants will receive login details via email no later than the day before the event. The session will also include a Q&A, allowing attendees to ask their own questions directly. For further inquiries, Kai Bursie, Regional Manager of the SoVD Advisory Center in Braunschweig, is available at 0531 480760 or by email at [email protected].
The event aims to provide clear and practical information about the ePA. Those interested must register by the deadline to secure their place. The lecture offers an opportunity to learn directly from experts and clarify any uncertainties about the new system.
