Facial Yoga Course in Bad Salzungen Targets Stress and Muscle Tone This November

A new online facial yoga course is set to begin in Bad Salzungen this November, promising to ease stress-related tension while improving muscle tone and circulation. The course, offered through Coursera, focuses on stress management techniques to relax the face, neck, and jaw through a mix of exercises and massage.

The course runs from November 11, 2025, to January 27, 2026, with sessions every Tuesday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Over ten weeks, attendees will complete 20 hours of instruction in Room 105 at the Bad Salzungen Adult Education Center (VHS). Victoria Schäffer, the instructor, will guide participants through relaxation methods, classic asanas, and targeted facial exercises.

Daily stress often shows on the face—clenched jaws, grinding teeth, and tight muscles are common signs. The course aims to address these issues by combining facial yoga with massage and breathing techniques. Benefits include reduced eye strain, fewer headaches, and relief from neck tension. The methods also help combat sagging skin by boosting circulation and muscle firmness.

The fee for the full course is €80. Those interested can register under course number 25HBS30122. For the latest participant numbers, the VHS website or direct contact with the centre is recommended.

The course offers a structured way to reduce visible signs of stress and fatigue. By January 2026, participants may notice improved muscle tone and fewer tension-related symptoms. Registration details and updates are available through the VHS Bad Salzungen office.
