EVK Bergisch Gladbach Opens Maternity Ward for Public Tours on May 9

EVK Bergisch Gladbach is opening its maternity ward to the public on May 9, 2026. The open day runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering expectant parents and families a chance to explore the newly certified Baby-Friendly Hospital unit. The event welcomes expectant parents, couples planning a family, and anyone curious about maternity care. Visitors can join guided tours of the delivery rooms and postnatal ward. Interactive activities and expert talks will cover childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, bonding, and essential baby supplies.

Special sessions include acupuncture during pregnancy and pediatric topics, organised with the EVK Pediatric Practice. The Bergisch Gladbach Baby Guide (*Babylotsin*) will also be on hand at a dedicated booth. Meanwhile, the Qfit Parenting School will showcase its upcoming course offerings. No registration is needed for the open day, and all activities are free to attend.
