Elena Paparizou makes triumphant return after health battles and cancellations

Elena Paparizou has returned to the stage after a short break caused by health problems. The singer appeared alongside Takis Zacharatos at the Nychterino Kantr event in Trikala on Tuesday, March 25. She had previously cancelled performances due to an allergic reaction that left her hospitalised. In December 2025, Paparizou underwent surgery after facing an unexpected health issue. Just months later, she suffered a severe allergic reaction, forcing her to cancel live shows a week before her return. Despite the setbacks, she insisted on coming back for her fans, stating she wanted to be at her best for them.

She openly admitted to feeling exhausted from her demanding schedule. The artist described herself as a perfectionist who pushes hard but recognised the need for rest. Her recent appearance marked her first performance since the health scare, signalling her determination to continue despite the challenges. Paparizou's return to the stage follows a difficult period of recovery and cancelled shows. She has made it clear that her priority remains delivering strong performances for her audience. The event in Trikala was her first step back into live music after weeks of uncertainty.
