Chelsea Clinic Unveils Singapore's Largest Aesthetic Hub in Ngee Ann City
The Chelsea Clinic, a renowned name in Singapore's aesthetic medicine scene, has moved to a new home in Ngee Ann City. The relocation marks a major upgrade, transforming the clinic into one of the largest of its kind in the country. With expanded facilities and improved services, the clinic aims to serve even more patients from Singapore and abroad.
Founded in 1999 by Dr. Ewen Chee, the Chelsea Clinic has long been recognised as a pioneer in evidence-based aesthetic treatments. For years, it operated from a smaller, single-site location with around five treatment rooms and an annual patient count of roughly 6,000. This was modest compared to competitors like The Clifford Clinic and Dr. Terence Tan's The Aesthetics Surgery, which handle over 10,000 patients yearly across multiple rooms.
The new facility is a purpose-built space, combining the medical clinic, a spa, and the corporate headquarters of SBC Medical Group all under one roof. It now features 16 rooms in total—12 for clinical treatments and 4 dedicated spa rooms—making it one of Singapore's largest aesthetic clinics. The design also includes dedicated consultation rooms for each doctor, larger waiting areas, and treatment spaces named after Japanese cities, reflecting the clinic's ties to Japan.
To better serve Japanese-speaking patients, the clinic offers full support in Japanese. A bilingual staff member is on hand for direct assistance, ensuring smooth communication and booking. Help is available through LINE, WhatsApp, phone calls, and the clinic's bilingual website. This expansion reinforces SBC Medical's commitment to growing its presence across Asia while maintaining its reputation for quality care.
The move to Ngee Ann City gives the Chelsea Clinic more space, better integration, and enhanced patient services. With its larger facility and Japanese-language support, the clinic is now equipped to handle a higher volume of local and international patients. The upgrade also solidifies its position as a leading provider of medical aesthetics in Singapore.
