Bergisches Städtedreieck Launches Tenth Cross-Mentoring Round for Women Leaders
A cross-mentoring program for women leaders and founders in the Bergisches Städtedreieck region will launch its tenth round on May 21. The initiative, designed to empower and connect emerging female professionals, is now accepting applications until March 31.
The program is organised by the Competence Center for Women and Careers in the Bergisches Städtedreieck. This centre operates under Wuppertal's Office for Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination. Funding comes from the Ministry for Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Refugees, and Integration of North Rhine-Westphalia, along with contributions from Wuppertal, Solingen, and Remscheid.
The scheme pairs mentees with experienced mentors for one-on-one guidance. It also facilitates knowledge exchange among participants, helping women prepare for leadership roles or grow their startups. Beyond individual support, the program assists small and medium-sized businesses in developing gender-equitable and family-friendly HR policies.
Applications remain open until the end of March. Women aiming for leadership positions or those who have recently started businesses are encouraged to apply.
The tenth round begins on May 21, offering structured mentorship and networking opportunities. The initiative continues to strengthen female leadership in the region while supporting businesses in fostering inclusive workplaces. Interested candidates have until March 31 to submit their applications.
