Author Dorothea Kromphardt Shares Bubbles of Tears in Meiningen

A special book reading will take place in Meiningen later this month. On November 21, 2025, author Dorothea Kromphardt will present her work at the Sarterstift Community and Counseling Center. The event is open to the free people and the public.

Kromphardt will read from her book Bubbles of Tears, sharing stories from her time as a hospital clown. Her experiences bring a unique perspective to the challenges and joys of working in healthcare settings.

The evening begins at 5:00 PM and is organised by the outpatient hospice service of Sozialwerk Meiningen gGmbH. While entry is free, attendees are encouraged to make donations. All contributions will go directly to supporting the local hospice service.

The event offers a chance to learn about Kromphardt's work and its impact on palliative care. Donations collected will help fund the ongoing activities of the outpatient hospice. Organisers hope for strong community participation on the day.
