ARS Pharma and Krystal Biotech lead with groundbreaking biotechnology therapies

Two biopharma companies have made waves with their innovative biotechnology treatments and strong financial growth. ARS Pharma and Krystal Biotech are gaining recognition for their commercial biotechnology therapies, each targeting different critical medical needs. Both firms have reported significant progress in revenue and product development over the past year.

ARS Pharma has seen a dramatic rise in revenue, reaching $51.8 million in the first nine months of 2025. This marks a sharp increase from just $568,000 during the same period in 2024. The company's focus remains on preventing severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, through its FDA-approved nasal spray, Neffy, which gained approval in 2024. While no new disease indications for Neffy are planned by the end of 2026, ARS Pharma is exploring additional uses for its pipeline, including ARS-2, a biotechnology treatment for chronic urticaria.

Krystal Biotech specialises in gene therapies delivered via viral vectors, targeting conditions like cystic fibrosis, lung diseases, and certain cancers. Its flagship product, Vyjuvek, became the first topical genetic therapy approved by the FDA in 2023 for dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa. The company now projects annual sales of $388 million to $389 million for Vyjuvek, reflecting a 34% increase at the midpoint. Analysts also forecast a 156% jump in annual earnings per share, with estimates ranging from $6.46 to $8.92.

Beyond Vyjuvek, Krystal's KB707 candidate is under development for advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. The treatment recently received the FDA's Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy designation, highlighting its potential in addressing unmet medical needs.

Both companies are expanding their commercial reach while advancing new biotechnology therapies. ARS Pharma's revenue surge and pipeline growth signal strong momentum in allergy treatment. Meanwhile, Krystal Biotech's gene therapy innovations continue to drive financial and clinical progress, with Vyjuvek sales and earnings forecasts pointing to sustained growth.
