Antiverse Secures £7M to Revolutionize Antibody Discovery with AI
Antiverse, a biotech firm specializing in antibody discovery, has secured £7 million in a Series A funding round. The investment pushes the company's total raised capital beyond $20 million, with Soulmates Ventures leading the latest round.
The new funds will help Antiverse expand its drug development pipeline and push lead antibody programs into in vivo efficacy testing. The company also plans to scale its discovery platform, supporting partnerships with pharmaceutical firms and research foundations.
Antiverse uses machine learning to design therapeutic antibodies, which it then tests on proprietary cell models. This approach has already led to agreements with several top-20 global pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, the firm has partnered with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to create novel antibodies targeting the CFTR protein.
By 2027, Antiverse aims to advance its first wholly owned antibody candidates into later-stage preclinical trials. The funding will further strengthen its collaborative programs with existing partners.
The £7 million investment will accelerate Antiverse's research and drug development efforts. With expanded resources, the company is now better positioned to move its antibody programs forward. Current partnerships with major pharmaceutical firms and foundations remain central to its strategy.
