Almaty Mother Welcomes Rare Natural Triplets After Emergency Birth
A woman in Almaty has given birth to triplets naturally, without fertility treatments. The rare arrival took place at the Almaty City Perinatal Center, where the newborn babies arrived prematurely but in good health. The family now has six children, as the mother already had three before this birth.
The triplets—two boys and a girl—were born at 32 weeks after an emergency delivery. Weighing 1,840 grams, 1,680 grams, and 1,620 grams respectively, they required immediate medical attention. A team of obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists worked together to ensure a smooth birth.
The newborns, named Zangar, Aibar, and Asel, were placed under special observation due to their early arrival. Their condition has since stabilised, and they are steadily gaining weight. Doctors expect them to be discharged home soon.
Last year, the same perinatal centre delivered over 9,000 babies, including two other sets of triplets. The facility is known for handling high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries.
The triplets' healthy arrival marks a successful outcome for the medical team and the family. With their condition now stable, the newborns will soon join their three older siblings at home. The Almaty City Perinatal Center continues to provide specialised care for premature and multiple births.
