Pinky Promise Secures Funding to Revolutionize Women’s Healthcare Access
Pinky Promise, a women's health startup, has secured fresh funding from high-profile angel investors. The platform, founded by Divya Kamerkar and Akanksha Vyas, aims to expand its services and reach millions more women. Its app currently provides round-the-clock gynaecological support and affordable prescriptions to over 350,000 women.
The startup was launched to help diagnose and manage women's health conditions through digital tools. Users can access instant chat with gynaecologists, 24/7 assistance, and cost-effective medical advice. Since its founding, Pinky Promise has already supported more than 350,000 women dealing with various health concerns.
The latest funding round includes investments from Subramanian Ramadorai, Mala Ramadorai, and other notable figures. Ajay Nair, Shreyas Srinivasan, and senior leaders from SpaceX, Boston Consulting Group, Flipkart, and PayTM also contributed. While details about the investors’ specific interests remain undisclosed, the capital will fuel the company’s growth plans. Pinky Promise intends to use the funds to develop integrated care solutions, launch physical clinics, and introduce nutritional supplements. The founders have set an ambitious target of serving 5 million women within the next two years. Expansion into offline clinics marks a shift from purely digital services to a hybrid healthcare model.
With new funding in place, Pinky Promise is preparing to scale its operations significantly. The startup’s focus on accessible care and hybrid services could reshape how women access gynaecological support. The next two years will determine whether its growth strategy meets the needs' needs of millions of users.
