Mumbai's Fortis Hospital Unveils BreastCare360 for Holistic Cancer Treatment
Fortis Hospital in Mulund, Mumbai, has launched BreastCare360, a specialised centre for breast health and cancer treatment. The initiative arrives on World Cancer Day 2026, offering a full range of services from early detection to advanced reconstructive surgery.
The new centre brings together diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare under one roof. Services include genetic testing, counselling, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and aesthetic procedures—even nipple reconstruction. It also addresses male breast conditions, such as gynecomastia and male breast cancer.
A team of leading specialists heads the initiative. Dr Raj Kapadia (Surgical Oncology), Dr Rachana Tataria (Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery), and Dr Sonali Maniar (Radiology) bring years of expertise to the programme. Their combined skills cover cancerous and non-cancerous breast conditions, ensuring comprehensive patient support.
As of February 2026, no other Fortis hospital in India provides a breast health programme as wide-ranging as BreastCare360. The centre operates within Fortis Hospital, Mulund, part of Fortis Healthcare Limited, which runs 36 hospitals, 6,000+ beds, and 400 diagnostics labs nationwide.
The launch of BreastCare360 expands access to specialised breast care in Mumbai. Patients now have a single location for screening, treatment, and reconstruction—including services rarely offered elsewhere, such as male breast cancer support. The centre's arrival marks a new standard in integrated breast health within the Fortis network.
